Travel Diary- Cruise

Words don’t even describe how amazing this last week has been. This is my 3rd cruise I have ever been on and I didn’t think it was possible to be better than the first 2 cruises, but it sure was.

I went on an 8 night New Caledonia cruise with my friends and spent most of our time drinking cocktails, dancing, playing trivia, eating endless amounts of food and swimming.

I love everything about cruises, the atmosphere, the people you meet, the amazing staff, the food, the parties…. and the list goes on. There are so many things you can do during the day and night, my favourite night was definitely 80’s night and Mexican night.

The deck parties are always so much fun on these themed nights and it gets people of all ages to dance and have a good time. We also were lucky enough to celebrate Australia Day on the boat, there were so many events happening on the deck during the day including a live jazz band playing classic Aussie songs.

The staff were so amazing on the cruise, they always would remember my name and go out of their way to make me feel special. This photo was taken on the last day of the cruise, even though Isle of Pines was cancelled due to a cyclone and the weather wasn’t the best, nothing could stop me from being really happy.

The cocktails on the cruise were always so aesthetically pleasing. Most days I would have a mango swirl or frozen Pina colada, but this particular night my friends and I shared a fishbowl. These come in all different flavours and colours and they are absolutely delicious.

I find cruises such a great relaxing holiday, everything is done for you, it is the best place for me to relax and spend time with my friends. Cruises cater for anyone and there is always something going on throughout the day whether its trivia or bingo, live deck music, competitions, dance classes, karaoke or comedy shows.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, even though I am definitely feeling those cruise blues right now. I am super excited however, because I am off to NYC tomorrow. Stay tuned for more travel posts soon xoxo

Until next time,

Courts xoxo
