Today’s blog post is an editorial style post all about Culottes (wide pants). I have been wearing wide pants a lot more lately as I find them so classy and can be styled with everything. They are perfect to wear to work, internships or to events. This is one of my favourite outfits at the moment, I have just styled these striped pants from Valley Girl with a Temt mint top and mule heels from Rubi.
I find Culottes such a cool new trend that can be styled with so many different outfits and can be either dressed up or down. A lot of people may shy away from this trend because of height issues, but I feel like you can get away with wearing these pants if you wear heels. I would also stick to wearing a blouse or tucked in tops to give a jumpsuit effect, I feel as though this would work a lot better for petite people that are fashion conscious.
There are so many events I have coming up and I find Culottes such a professional and classy alternative to dresses especially if you don’t exactly know what the dress code is. Culottes are also super comfortable and are especially perfect to wear when going out for lunch or dinner. Let’s face it, we have all made the mistake of accidentally wearing something too tight after a huge meal and then feeling bloated for the rest of the evening. (happens to me all the time)
