Summer Lovin’ (What I got for Christmas)

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope these past few days have been full of eating heaps of food and spending time with family and friends. Today’s post is another outfit post, wearing head to toe of what I got for Christmas.

I had such a great Christmas this year, we hosted four parties at our house which was so fun; starting with the big family party on my mums side, then having my classy great aunt and uncle over, a party with all my friends from school and then ending it off with my dads side on Christmas Day. There was a lot of food involved including Pavlovas, fancy canapés, Ham and Turkey.

I have always enjoyed the lead up to Christmas, especially the week before Christmas when everyone is frantically trying to buy presents last minute and cook food for the next few days. Christmas Eve was my favourite day, I spend most of the day buying presents with my mum and then spending all afternoon wrapping the gifts and listening to the Ariana Grande Christmas album. Then, I went to church with my mum, best friend and her family. I ended the night by cooking up a storm for lunch the next day and then sitting down to watch the polar express with my family.

For Christmas this year, my family decided that we wouldn’t go too crazy on gifts, especially because I am going overseas in less than a month and am trying to save up. I did however, ask for a few clothes for work and blogging that I thought were really cute.

What I got for Christmas 2017:

  1. Rose gold sunglasses (Ally)
  2. off the shoulder top (Dotti)
  3. Denim skirt (Dotti)
  4. Embroidered clutch (Colette)
  5. Fluffy Slides (Rubi)

Other things I received that I’m not wearing included a few pairs of earrings and rings from Lovisa, Kayla Itsines healthy habits guide, and a cute rose gold wallet from Colette, travel wallet and US notes from the grandparents and a few pairs of extravagant earrings from my friends.

I hope you enjoyed this little post, remember that Christmas isn’t about the gifts, and I am definitely not trying to brag about what I got in any way but I am definitely grateful for what I did receive.

Until next time,

Courts xoxo
